A visionary voice of possibility, Van Jones has been at the forefront of grassroots to national initiatives equalizing the field of opportunity for all. As founder and President of The Dream Corps, he works to create 21st century jobs through initiatives such as Green For All and Yes We Code. A CNN political contributor and former White House Special Advisor, Van wrote the New York Times bestsellers The Green Collar Economy and Rebuild The Dream.

As the lead advocate for the Green Jobs Act, which was signed into law by George W. Bush in 2007, Van helped establish the first piece of federal legislation to codify the term “green jobs.” During the Obama Administration, that legislation resulted in $500 million in national funding for green jobs training.

Van has been honored with multiple awards including Rolling Stone’s 2012 “12 Leaders Who Get Things Done,” TIME’s 2009 “100 Most Influential People in The World," and "The Root 100" in 2014. He also is a fellow at the MIT Media Lab.
